When asked about human beauty, one would think of the adage
"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." I have realized, though, that
"Beauty is in the beholder's mind." When it comes to physical
attractiveness, each person has their own tastes. Where do they originate,
though?
We frequently appear to miss the reality that physical beauty is
the most ephemeral and elusive. Beauty, in my opinion, comprises a lot more
than what most people originally believe.
1. BEAUTY AWARENESS AND THE POWER
My idea of what beauty is has never changed. It just grew in size.
I was already aware of the differences when I had crushes on attractive boys
who were mean to less attractive girls. And when some of the most well-liked
and physically appealing junior high school girls turned out to be so mean and
self-centered.
2. BEAUTY IS A SOCIAL CONSTRUCTION
I remember being fascinated by the vibrant hues of my fellow
students as I sat in the cafeteria during my first year at university. Students
spoke perfect English and to be honest, everything seemed so exotic and
wonderful. I quickly realized how small the world I'd grown up in was made up.
It is abundantly clear to me that these years of meeting people from all over
the world solidified my wanderlust. I was aware that I would not attend law
school. I would experience and see the world.
Fortunately for me, a campus scout from a New York modeling agency
approached me and inquired about my modeling experience. After traveling the
world as a commercial model for a decade and a half, I perfectly fit her social
construct.
The modeling industry is hard. You are too old, too fat, too this,
too that...and when I first started my career, it was very unlikely that
appearing ethic would lead to a significant advertising contract. Fortunately,
a lot has changed in recent decades.
I've developed a unique lens through my two careers that have
involved a lot of travel. Honoring and embracing the beauty ideals of other
cultures and locations has become important to me.
3. BEAUTY EMERGES FROM THE INSIDE OUT
However, all of my ideas above only refer to physical beauty. I
frequently find myself contemplating what it means to be truly beautiful
because I design one-of-a-kind jewelry collections with the goal of making women
feel beautiful. Additionally, I am of the opinion that every woman has the
right to a sense of beauty.
I, like many others,
find physical beauty appearing. Living a life that spans the globe has greatly
expanded my understanding of what it means to be physically beautiful. I
believe that culture and the media influence the majority of people first.
Even though I am aware
that you are supposed to assert that "inner beauty is more important than
outer beauty," I believe this is the wrong strategy.
4. BEAUTIFUL ON BOTH
ENDS
True beauty, in my opinion, has two sides. Additionally, both are equally
crucial. The first is about appearance, not having attractive eyes or hair. It
has to deal with physical fitness and wellness. We all fall short of taking
care of ourselves at various periods in our lives, but being fit and healthy
boosts your confidence and sense of wellbeing. Regular exercise and a healthy
diet are two self-care practices that enhance inner attractiveness.
Imagine the individual who radiated optimism and a love of life and
people. What kind of face is that? Age, wrinkles, or perfectly balanced
proportions are unrelated. After the event, people will remember the positive
vibes for a very long
In addition, the opposite is true. Every neighborhood had an unhappy elderly person when I was a kid. When I look back, I now realize that these people could have been as young as 40.I believe that dissatisfaction with life and a lack of gratitude become ingrained in someone's face over time. Since I have no idea what these people are going through, I try to show compassion to them when I meet them.
5. BEAUTY IS ALL OVER US
I have repeatedly
discovered that my "theory" is accurate. I went to a garden with two
men, they both had numerous facial tattoos. It would have been simple to
concentrate on the women rather than the tattoos. Fortunately, I was ensnared
by their positive attitude and energy. I saw a beauty like that. When I am well
rested, in my normal fitness mode, and appropriately dressed, I feel my most
beautiful. I try not to obsess over numbers. I am of Nordic/Eastern European
descent and am 5'11" tall. That number will never fall below that! But I
can trust that beauty will emerge if I pay attention to my spirit and health.
I can interact with
people of almost every race, religion, and color through international careers.
I now meet them as fellow humans and spirits, as opposed to seeing them in
movies like we did as kids.
Why should I alter my
viewpoint? Because, at the end of the day, we are all one. Recently, I was
filming an interview for the morning show in Alicante, Spain. While holding a
reflector under my chin to remove shadows, the Moroccan director's assistant,
who was only 5 feet tall, chain-smoked in my face. “Miss how do you ever expect
to find a husband and have children when you are so tall?" the questioner
inquired. He looked at me and asked me. I was speechless. The cameraman was
shaky as he laughed. I was regarded as a terrifying freak by this man. There,
you have proof that beauty is a construct.
True beauty is a balance between internal and external factors. The key for me is to know that I have no obligation to please anyone else. I hope that all men experience this. Because I know where I feel most comfortable, I dress and adorn myself to please myself. “As I stated at the outset, "beauty is in the beholder's eye. “Choose to compliment your beauty.
